We offer our heartiest congratulations to the four Consett Park players, who are now in the Final of the Durham County Rink Competition The final between Consett Park and Wearmouth will be played at Durham on Saturday first, and we feel sure the local lads will rise to the occasion and make history for Consett Park, by being the first combination of players to win a County Cup Competition.

STAFF
The first of a series of three bowls games, between officials and workmen of Consett Urban District Council, in which the loosers are to make a donation to the local Spitfire fund, was played on Sherburn Park and witnessed by a large crowd.
The match proved an interesting one and resulted in a win for the Workmen by six shots.
