J. W. Lake

J. W. Lake was the first assistant secretary of Consett Park Bowling Club.  

In 1926 he was the Club Champion.

He represented the County, including appearances in 1926, 1927 and 1928.

He became secretary of Consett Park Bowling Club in 1929, replacing Major Mangles who was leaving the district.

J. W. Lake also became secretary of the North West Durham Bowling League and a member of the Durham County executive committee (EBA).
